Chris Collins is a Co-founder and Managing Partner of Percheron Capital. Along with his partner Chris Lawler, he directs the firm’s strategy and investment decisions in accordance with its principals of innovation, collaboration and unwavering commitment.

Mr. Collins started Percheron Capital with a vision to build a world-class team to execute a focused strategy to partner with founders and management teams of growing middle market, essential services businesses at growth inflection points and help them to create scaled and strategically positioned growth platforms.

Mr. Collins currently sits on the Boards of Veritas Veterinary Partners, Big Brand Tire & Service, Caliber Car Wash and Animal Dermatology Group.

Prior to Percheron, Mr. Collins spent over a decade as an investor at Golden Gate Capital and as an investment banker at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. He received a B.A. in Economics from the College of the Holy Cross.

Mr. Lawler started Percheron Capital with a vision to build a world-class team to execute a focused strategy to partner with founders and management teams of growing middle market, essential services businesses at growth inflection points and help them to create scaled and strategically positioned growth platforms.

Mr. Lawler currently sits on the Boards of Veritas Veterinary Partners, Big Brand Tire & Service, Caliber Car Wash and Animal Dermatology Group.

Prior to Percheron, Mr. Lawler spent over a decade as an investor at Golden Gate Capital and as an investment banker at Morgan Stanley. He received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. in History from Yale.

Amy Abbott is the CFO of Percheron Capital. Ms. Abbott is responsible for managing the financial and operational functions at the firm.

Prior to Percheron, Ms. Abbott was CFO of Serent Capital, a mid-market private equity firm, for five years.

Prior to Serent Capital, Ms. Abbott worked at Schwab, where she developed new financial products, as well as Hall Capital, where she was a member of the Research Group. Prior to Hall Capital, Ms. Abbott was an investor at Davidson Kempner Partners focused on distressed debt and private lending. She began her career as a Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company. She received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, a B.A. in Philosophy with a second major in Classics from Wellesley College and an M.A. in Philosophy from King’s College London.

Joe Buscaglia is an Operating Partner of Percheron Capital. Mr. Buscaglia collaborates with the management teams of our partner companies to help scale their businesses, including helping define the value creation strategy, assemble the necessary talent and resources for accelerated growth, and execute operational improvements.

Prior to Percheron, Mr. Buscaglia was the Chief Financial Officer of Abra Autobody & Glass, a private equity-backed automotive collision repair business with over 400 service centers. At Abra, Mr. Buscaglia was a member of the senior management team that defined and executed a growth playbook focused on customer and teammate experience, organic growth, margin expansion, greenfield expansion, and acquisitions. During his tenure with Abra, the Company increased customer satisfaction, accelerated organic growth, and added over 150 new service centers. With the merger of Abra and Caliber Collision in 2019, Mr. Buscaglia helped create the first national collision repair chain in the country.

Prior to Abra, Mr. Buscaglia worked at Pep Boys for over 18 years in various management positions in Strategy, Finance and Accounting, Operations and Procurement.

Lauren Heller is a Senior Associate at Percheron Capital. Ms. Heller is responsible for transaction structuring and diligence, and working alongside our partner companies.

Prior to Percheron, Ms. Heller was an Associate at Apollo Global Management where she focused on investments in the consumer services, industrials, and infrastructure sectors.

Prior to Apollo, Ms. Heller worked at J.P. Morgan in investment banking. She received a Master of Accounting and a B.A. in Mathematical Economic Analysis with Honors from Rice University. Ms. Heller is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Jim Kessler is an Operating Partner of Percheron Capital. Mr. Kessler collaborates with the management teams of our partner companies to help scale their businesses, including helping define the value creation strategy, assemble the necessary talent and resources for accelerated growth, and execute operational improvements.

Prior to Percheron, Mr. Kessler was the President of Emerging Businesses of Caliber Collision, the largest automotive collision repair business in the country. At Caliber, Mr. Kessler developed and executed the Company’s growth strategy in a variety of automotive sub-sectors, including repair & maintenance services with Caliber Auto Care and glass repair services with Caliber Auto Care Glass.

Prior to Caliber, Mr. Kessler was the Chief Operating Officer of Abra Autobody & Glass, a private equity-backed automotive collision repair business with over 400 service centers. At Abra, Mr. Kessler was a member of the senior management team that defined and executed a growth playbook focused on customer and teammate experience, organic growth, greenfield expansion, and acquisitions. Prior to Golden Gate Capital, Mr. Kwan was at Bridgewater Associates and worked at McKinsey & Company in management consulting. He received a Bachelor of Commerce with a specialization in Finance from the University of British Columbia.

Prior to Percheron, Mr. Liang was an assistant controller at Headline, a venture capital firm, for five years.

Prior to Headline, Mr. Liang was an auditor at Deloitte San Francisco, where he focused on the investment management industry. Prior to Deloitte, he was a senior accountant at Industry Capital Advisors. Mr. Liang began his career at Berkeley Partners, a San Francisco based real estate investment firm. Mr. Liang received an M.B.A. from the University of California, Davis, a B.A. in Finance with a second major in Accounting from the University of San Francisco. Mr. Liang is a Certified Public Accountant in California.

Prior to Silver Oak, Ms. Pezzati was an Analyst at Robert W. Baird, a Chicago-based investment bank. She began her career in the deal advisory & transaction services division of KPMG. She received a M.A.S. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a dual B.S. degree in Accounting & Finance with Honors from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Prior to Altamont Capital Partners, Ms. Rutherford was an investor at NGP Energy Capital Management and worked in the investment banking group at Scotiabank. She received an M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a B.B.A. in Business Honors / Finance and a B.A. in Plan II Honors from the University of Texas at Austin.

Brad Sanders is a Managing Director, Portfolio Operations Group of Percheron Capital. Mr. Sanders manages the Portfolio Operations Group, a team of dedicated, senior executives with deep functional expertise who develop and lead Centers of Excellence that work in partnership with founders and management teams of Percheron’s portfolio companies to drive growth and value creation.

Mr. Sanders is currently on the Boards of Veritas Veterinary Partners and Caliber Car Wash.

Prior to Percheron, Mr. Sanders was the Co-Chief Executive Officer of Raising Cane’s, one of the fastest growing Quick Service Restaurants in the country. During his 18-year career at Raising Cane’s, Mr. Sanders helped the business grow from eight restaurants in Louisiana to over 500 restaurants in 27 states and five countries. While at Raising Cane’s, Mr. Sanders served in a variety of senior leadership positions in Operations, Real Estate Development, Human Resources, Finance, and Marketing.

Mr. Sanders received a Bachelor of Architecture from Louisiana State University.

Priya Saraswati is the Head of Business Development of Percheron Capital. Ms. Saraswati is responsible for managing deal origination, sourcing and marketing functions at the firm.

Prior to Percheron, Ms. Saraswati was the Director of Business Development at Vista Equity Partners, a private equity firm, where she was responsible for leading the firm’s business development and research teams and growing its sourcing strategy.

Prior to Vista Equity Partners, Ms. Saraswati was a member of the business development team at KeyBanc Capital Markets and worked in the investment banking group at CIBC World Markets. She received a Bachelor of Commerce in Japanese and Finance from the University of Alberta.

Prior to Percheron, Ms. Singh was a front office coordinator in the investment banking group of Houlihan Lokey. She received a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
